I’m known for being quite the smoothie drinker and people often ask me my favorites or for recommendations. This is my go to post work out smoothie, but is also just a great mid day pick me up. The protein is a necessity after the workout and the caffeine keeps me movin.

1/2 cup almond milk
1 cup iced coffee
-I generally have Starbucks brand iced coffee in my fridge. I know a lot of people like to make a pot of coffee in the morning. If you have a cup to spare I recommend just putting it in the fridge for your smoothie later on.
1/2 cup vanilla or chocolate yogurt
1 banana
3/4 cup spinach
1 tablespoon peanut butter
2 ice cubes
1 scoop protein powder.
-I use Vega brand mostly because it is available everywhere. I chose to use plant based proteins, because I have trouble with dairy. Nothing wrong with Whey! I’ve been using the Vega Sport line because it has 30g of protein, which is quite a lot.
Sometimes I add an avocado as well.
If you’re new to the smoothie game the spinach and avocado may sound a bit odd. Once it is all blended up you won’t even know it’s good for you!
